In Year 1 we have been learning about plants this term. The children planted bean seeds and enjoyed playing in the garden centre role play area.
Enterprise week activities and the garden shop role play area have helped children to learn about using money in maths. We have also been learning about 3D shapes and measuring.
Year 1 visited London Zoo this term. We had an exciting time visiting the giraffes, zebras, gorillas, butterflies, parrots and many other animals. After the trip, the children did some fantastic recount writing about their day at the zoo.
